Hi, my name is Renee and I’ve been working at KCH for 4 years as a Facilitator and have been working with children for over 20 years.
I am married and have 2 boys. We moved to Karratha from NSW 6 years ago and we love it here.
I love what KCH has to offer the community and I enjoy being able to share my skills and seeing the children play, grow, learn, develop friendships and most importantly have FUN!
The connections I have formed with the parents and the children are what I love most.
I LOVE coffee, spending time with my family, catching up with friends and when it is not too hot, spending time outdoors and camping!
My name is Bel, I have just started working on Reception at KCH and previously have been the Assistant Facilitator for Playtime and Ready, Set, School.
It's a privilege working at KCH and being part of a bigger family, a home away from home for children, families and staff alike.
As a mum of 4, I adore children and love caring for them as family means everything. It’s very important to me that all children are loved, nurtured and respected.
I enjoy gardening, camping, and spending time with my family.
I look forward to working with all the amazingly beautiful children and families that come to KCH.
Hi! My name is Sharne. I was lucky enough to join the KCH team 8 months ago. I currently work in Ready Set School and the Drumbeat program.
I love working with children.
It is a very rewarding job.
It’s exciting to see their enthusiasm for learning, their willingness to try new things and their refreshing (and often humorous) honesty.
My favourite part of my work is seeing kids grow in confidence and gain independence.
Outside of work, I love running and hope to achieve my goal of running a Marathon this year!
My name is Kylie and this is my first year teaching the Ready Set School program at Karratha Community House. I have my Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and have taught from kindergarten through to Year 2.
I have such a passion for early years education and am a big advocate of children learning through play in the early years.
I have been attending KCH as a member since 2014.
I began by attending the casual playgroups and then started attending the wonderful Bookworms program.
KCH has had such an impact on the early years of motherhood for me. It has enabled me to get out of the house in those early newborn days, connecting with other parents and building many relationships for both myself and my children.
We love the place so much we have even hired the rooms for our children's birthday parties!
As a family we have always felt welcomed and I now feel so honoured to be part of this amazing team.
